Software Sales Representative, FeaturePlan

We are looking for senior software Sales Representatives located in both east and west coast of USA or Canada. Home office with travel up to 60% of the time.

Primary Responsibilities:

As a member of the Sales Team, you will:

  1. Prospect and qualify new business opportunities by identifying business goals and critical issues. Your goal is to help sell FeaturePlan and to work as a team with our field professional services group to drive revenue and over-achieve your quota
  2. Generate, develop and close new business. Experience selling into software or high tech firms a plus, as is experience with enterprise divisional accounts.
  3. Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
  4. Call on senior
  5. level executive contacts and manage a highly consultative, complex sales cycle
  6. Work closely with prospective clients to understand their business objectives and create the most appropriate solution to meet their needs
  7. Develop deep relationships with clients, maintaining the client asset for the long term
  8. Create and manage territory and account plans

What You Will Bring:

  4. Proven success in prospecting and developing a territory
  5. Proven track record of succeeding quotas and goals
  6. Proven success in developing new business and managing complex sales cycle, from generating leads to closing deals.

  9. Exceptional written and oral presentation skills
  10. Experience following a sales methodology throughout the sales cycle
  11. 2+ years experience using CRM tools
  12. Familiarity with product management lifecycle methodologies
  13. Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment
  14. Excellent interpersonal skills
  15. Demonstrated problems solving and analytical skills
  16. Ability to learn technical concepts and processes quickly
  17. Takes initiative, self-directed, self-motivated, detail oriented
  18. High level of personal energy and willingness to take the initiative in making improvements and resolving issues
  19. BA/BS degree at a minimum
