Software Development Engineer, Professional Services Team
General Description:
We are looking for a software development engineer to join our professional services group.
Key activities include managing requests from the field team, development and product management teams, report writing,
API work, and html form creation.
We are looking for candidates located in Montreal.
Primary Responsibilities:
Design and deliver customized FeaturePlan reports
Build and maintain demonstration databases for prospects and the professional services team
Act as the main liaison between the professional services team and Montreal headquarters (R&D, Product Management, Product Marketing)
Deliver the professional services team regular briefings on new features and functionality of upcoming releases
Coordinate regular meetings with Product Management to discuss outstanding enhancement requests and their resolutions
Work with our API to create integration modules for the most popular applications that can be customized and deployed rapidly
Assist in design, creation and updating of internal documentation
What You Will Bring:
Experience with html, asp, .net, web services
Experience writing integration layers between applications using .NET API and Web Services API
Experience with report writing in Active Reports or Crystal Reports
Business Process & Data Modeling
Delivery of functional and technical presentations and demos
Good technical writing skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Familiarity with product management lifecycle methodologies would be an asset
