René Bellei to drive new business initiatives to expand Ryma’s global reach in the Enterprise Product Management market.
Montreal, Quebec – October 18, 2004 – Ryma Technology Solutions Inc., the first company to deliver an Enterprise Product Management (EPM) solution for Product Managers that employs best practices from the Pragmatic Marketing® Framework, announces the appointment of René Bellei as President and CEO. With this appointment, Ryma’s co-founder, Andre Levesque, will now assume the role of Chief Technology Officer.
René brings more than 15 years experience in the high technology industry. He has proven track record for developing a company’s leadership in their marketplace. In his new role with Ryma, René will be responsible for driving new business initiatives to expand Ryma’s global reach in the enterprise product management market.
René joins Ryma from Invidex Inc., a provider of enterprise software solutions to the broadcast industry, where in February 2000 he co-founded the company and assumed the CEO role. He raised private capital, surrounded himself with an experienced management team, developed the company’s patent pending technology and brought the company to revenue generation. In Q4 2002, he became CTO and later COO of the company. Before Invidex, René held a senior position in the sales organization of ABL Canada Inc., a provider of hardware and software solutions to the telecom industry. In this position, he implemented sales and marketing strategies where he helped North American and international telecom companies study market potential, design, implement and market multimedia telecom networks. These strategies resulted in continuous revenue growth in North America, Europe and Latin America. Early in his career, René held software and hardware engineering positions at Bombardier and other Montreal-based companies.
René is a Fellow at McGill’s Dobson Center for Entrepreneurial Studies where he regularly lectures and he also holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Sherbrooke University.
