Product Management Expert, FeaturePlan Professional Services Group
General Description:
We are looking for senior software product managers to join our professional services group as product management experts.
Key activities include "best practice" product management consulting, FeaturePlan customer demonstrations, implementations,
consulting and training.
We are looking for candidates located in both east and west coast of USA or Canada. Home office with travel up to 60% of the time.
To succeed in this role, you must be a Pragmatic Marketing trained Product Manager with at least 5 years Product Management experience in the software industry.
Primary Responsibilities:
Communicate features of FeaturePlan.
Determine overall user requirements.
Review client business processes.
Perform a product management process gap analysis.
Provide Product Management "Best Practice" consulting
Customize/Design required changes.
Demonstrations to potential clients.
Gather feedback on product and services
Assist in design, creation and updating of internal documentation
Actively communicate with customers to anticipate needs, and continue to improve existing implementations
Train clients and deliver demonstrations of the product (in person or via Webex)
Travel is required (up to 60% of the time)
What You Will Bring:
Pragmatic Marketing trained (ideal candidate will be a Pragmatic Marketing Certified Practitioner)
Business Process & Data Modeling.
Use case experience.
Delivery of functional and technical presentations and demos.
Knowledge of estimating methodologies.
Knowledge of statistical reporting.
Good technical writing skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with product management lifecycle methodologies.
Experience leading interactive, consultative training
